That Hurt :( -- Warning: Cryptic Post

So earlier tonight I had a 20 minute cry. Maybe longer. It's not like I timed it or anything. My feelings are hurt. Hurt bad. Someone (two someones actually) said something about me that I can't believe they could say. Flat out said that they thought I was doing something that I am not. I can't believe they even THOUGHT that I was capable of doing such a thing. The person that told me about it I think knew it would hurt my feelings. But thought I needed to know none the less.

For the record. I'm glad I know what they said and what they thought I am capable of. Hurt. Crying. But it's good to know. I'll never tell them that I know. But it sure will shape how I deal with them going forward for a while. I really thought they knew me enough to know I couldn't even POSSIBLY do that.

hurt. crying. and I really need to go to bed. Maybe this will all look better in the morning. I doubt it though. I should be done crying by then though.

Some of my cryptic posts are my favorite posts because they mean so much to me and everyone else just says "huh?". (And, if I were smart I'd be asleep right now and not typing stupid comments on blogs that probably won't make sense to anyone, including me, in the morning.)

I'm so sorry you were hurt yesterday and I wasn't there to lend a shoulder. Wine? Soon? Call me.

I know cruel words can hurt, but are these people REALLY your friends, or just online acquaintances?

I'm of the impression that you're a pretty nice lady, Carolyn. I don't know all the back-and-forth behind this of course, but I can't imagine you deserving the 'cyber-bully' treatment.

There's no shortage of short-minded, unhappy people online (and everywhere) who like nothing better than to take out their petty life-frustrations on others.

Don't let them get the best of you and don't get drawn into their cyber-dramas. Sometimes it's best to just step away and unplug for awhile.

Good luck, Carolyn!
