The rest of the Chicken Story

Went and picked up chickens this afternoon. Grandpa Jim's farm has added 12 new members.

Ever spent several hours in a house with chickens in the back room? It's kind of like having a fridge that is going out and you keep hearing the motor running. You kind of tune it out. And then the noise gets louder and you hear it again. Then you tune it out. And then you hear it again and you think, "What is that noise all about?" And then the noise starts to bother you . And then you tune it out again.

Fresh eggs. that will make all of this worth it, right?
